Terms of Service

1. The Service

Travel76 is an AI-powered trip planner: you describe a trip, Travel76 suggests routes, days, stays, flights, cars and experiences and compares partner offers. You can add bookings you made elsewhere to your trip, have their confirmations read by AI and, if you choose, keep them at the booking (trip folder).

The Service is currently free and is developed continuously; features may change or be removed. Some additional features may be marked “paid soon”; we introduce paid features only with your separate consent and with prior price and withdrawal information.

2. Not a travel organiser

Travel76 helps you plan and compare. We are not a tour operator, airline, hotel, car rental company, or experience provider.

When you follow a booking link to Kayak (hotels, flights, cars) or Viator (experiences), you contract and pay on that partner’s platform. We may receive a commission from the partner for the referral. You do not pay Travel76 for the travel product.

3. Affiliate disclosure

Outbound “Book” links to Kayak and Viator are partner / affiliate links. We may be compensated if you complete a booking after leaving our Service.

4. AI-generated content

Answers, suggestions and descriptions are generated by a language model (Google Gemini (Vertex AI, EU), with Anthropic Claude via OpenRouter as fallback); you are interacting with an AI system.

Content can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Prices and availability are snapshots from the partner at the time of the search. Verify prices, dates, visa, health and legal requirements with official sources before you book or travel.

When the AI reads a booking confirmation, check the fields before you accept them.

5. Account, minimum age, guest accounts

You must be at least 16 years old; under 16, use is permitted only with parental consent. Bookings with partners require legal age under the partner’s terms.

You may use Travel76 as a guest without registering; we delete guest accounts and their trips 30 days after last use. With a registered account your trips remain until you delete the account.

Signing in needs only access to your email: keep your mailbox secure and do not pass on sign-in codes. Use one account per person.

6. Your content and shared trips

Content you enter (messages, notes, titles, preferences) remains yours. You grant us the right to store and process it and to show it to the companions of a shared trip as far as the Service requires.

Only upload confirmations of bookings you made yourself or whose documents you manage for your travel group; no passports, ID cards or other documents. If a confirmation names other people, you confirm that you may pass their details to us for this trip, and you point them to our Privacy Policy.

Before a receipt is first read or kept, we ask once for your consent (Privacy Policy, section 2); without it you enter bookings by hand. We keep a receipt only if you choose to for that file, and your companions see it only if you show it to them. The trip folder is not an archive. A receipt is deleted when you remove it, its booking, the trip or your account is deleted, you leave the trip or withdraw your consent, and at the latest 12 months after the trip’s last day; keep the originals yourself. We do not accept files containing malware. Three receipts read by AI per trip and 50 MB of storage per account are free; entering bookings by hand always stays free.

Whoever shares a trip is its owner: they can invite and remove companions and delete the trip, also for everyone else. Whoever accepts an invitation sees the plan, notes and chat excerpts of that trip.

Unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or deceptive content and content you have no rights to is prohibited. Report such content to support@travel76.ai; we review reports and may remove content and suspend access. We inform the reporter and the affected user of our decision.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service unlawfully, do not scrape partner inventory, do not circumvent access or usage limits, and do not interfere with operations.

8. Term, termination, suspension, discontinuation

The contract runs for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time by deleting your account on your account page.

We may suspend your access if you breach these Terms or pose a security risk; we tell you the reason where legally permitted. If we discontinue the Service we give at least 30 days’ notice and enable you to export your data.

9. Changes to these Terms

We announce changes at least 30 days in advance by email or in the product. Material changes that restrict your rights apply only with your consent; if you do not agree you may end the contract before they take effect. Other changes are deemed accepted if you continue to use the Service after the stated date and we have pointed this out to you.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory product liability law.

Otherwise we are liable only for breach of obligations whose fulfilment makes use of the Service possible in the first place and on which you may rely, and only for the foreseeable, typical damage at the time of contracting.

The Service is free of charge; we are not liable for partner bookings, services and content, or for decisions you make based on AI suggestions, unless we are ourselves at fault. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Governing law, venue, dispute resolution

The laws of Switzerland apply, excluding the UN Sales Convention. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply, and you may sue and be sued where you live.

Otherwise the venue is Dübendorf, Switzerland. We do not participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
